Ludlow Urban Event
We are really excited to have secured exclusive use of Ludlow Castle for our event. All of the junior courses will have a chance to complete their races running around the castle ruins with the event finish inside the grounds. Race starts will be between 5:30 and 7:30 pm.

Ludlow featured in both the 2011 and 2013 SinS weekends. The medieval grid layout combined with narrow intersecting side streets and significant contours make it a demanding urban venue.
To further distract runners there are over 500 listed buildings including a splendid ruined castle.

The classes/courses being provided are based on the courses suggested by BOF for an Urban event as detailed in the table below.
Entry will be by the class name e.g. Open Men, Veteran Men 40+, Supervet Men 55+, etc.
You can enter any course you like, the table is only a guide for experienced orienteers. A junior can be accompanied by an adult at no extra charge. Course 7 would be a good choice for an accompanied junior newcomer. Courses 5a/5b or 6 would be a good choice for a walker new to navigating. Courses 3a/3b or 4a/4b would be a good choice for a runner new to navigating.
